Playdough shapes

Number of players:

1+

What you need:

• Broad-tip marker
• Several sheets of construction paper or other coloured paper
• Clear contact paper
• Playdough

Activity:

Use a broad tip marker to draw simple shapes (circle, square etc) on the construction paper.
Limit one shape per piece of paper.
Cover each piece of paper with clear contact paper.
Have your child roll the play dough into ropes.
You may need to assist them with this.
Then have your child roll each rope over the drawn shapes.

Notes

• For fun and learning, have your child close their eyes and feel and try to identify each shape.
